Concordia University’s department of Computation Arts wanted a short and engaging video to showcase the department’s innovative program, its engaged faculty, dynamic student body, and famous graduates – all rolled into one. But the main purpose of this video was to help recruit new students.


We met with the department’s Chair and several professors to understand their needs and goals, and very importantly, what they’d like to see aesthetically in the finished video. We worked with them to create a wish list of professors and students to interview, plus key locations and events to be included in the video. The edit process included several feedback screenings with the department’s main stakeholders. This collaborative process helped guide us to the creation of what became a very successful and effective recruitment tool.
