Jon’s passion for movie-making began at a young age when he was captivated by a behind-the-scenes documentary about the making of the original Star Wars. His first chance to work on a film was in 1993 on the documentary Longshots where he was production assistant, grip, and camera assistant. But it wasn’t until later in life that he finally committed himself to pursuing a career in production. He officially joined Picture This as a full-time employee in February 2017. It’s alongside our team that Jon has gained the skills of researching, field recording, post-production, quality control as well as assistant editing. His approach to filmmaking draws inspiration from Albert Einstein who said: “I have no special talents. I am only passionately curious.”
