Comings and Goings

July 1st was Montreal’s big moving day when it feels like a third of the city packs up and moves to new digs. This month, we’ve had our own big moves but it’s been people moving on and moving in!

Heading west, all the way to Saskatchewan, is our Supervising Producer Daniel Hallen. After three and a half productive years with Picture This, Daniel is moving to the Prairies. Happily, he’ll continue to work with us on a variety of projects long distance, so we can continue benefitting from his great research, writing and producing skills.

Moving into our office is Managing Producer Ryan Prizant. Ryan comes with a strong background in production management and corporate video production. He studied International Business and Marketing at McGill University and is currently completing his diploma in accounting. Since being bitten by the TV bug, he’s spent the past several years working in TV and web video production, most recently as unit manager for CMJ Productions.  Ryan also has experience in the digital world producing comedy web videos, short films and commercials.

His co-owned YouTube channel featuring his team’s humour videos has accumulated over 6 millions views across 100 videos. We’re delighted that along with his sense of humour, he brings his strong business sense, organizational skills and passion for crunching numbers to both our corporate and television productions.

And lastly, we have a new who travelled all the way from Toulouse, France. Léa Le Cudennec is currently completing her Masters & degree in Cultural and Artistic Expertise. She is excited to spend three months fulfilling the practical aspect of her degree while learning about the Canadian and Quebec television industry.
