Pulling to the Top!

We are officially in production!  We’ve begun filming “Arm Nation”, a new 13 x 30 documentary series that will be launched on APTN in 2018, along with its companion mobile game. “Arm Nation” will follow the training, competitions and day-to-day life challenges of Indigenous athletes vying for the top in one of the world’s oldest sports!

We have so far filmed with amazingly talented ‘pullers’ in Ontario, Quebec, Alberta and Manitoba with plans to add several more great competitors in Nova Scotia and British Columbia later this spring.

From struggling through injuries to hang onto a title, to finding a way to train and compete as a single mother with multiple jobs, to lighting the passion for the sport on a remote Reserve, to making it to the top to represent Canada at the prestigious World Championships- we’ll follow it all!
