Shooting Wraps and Summer Interns Join Us!

And that’s a wrap! “Arm Nation”, our 13 part half hour sports documentary series for APTN, is finishing up filming this month. After 6 months of filming with more than a dozen determined Indigenous arm wrestlers across Canada, we’re heading into the edit room! Three crews gathered Canada Day weekend in Halifax to film all the action at the Canadian Arm Wrestling Championship in Halifax – with exciting results! Back in the office, we have two new summer interns:

Vic Hrycyk, a 3rd year Carleton University double major in History and Communications Studies. Her goal during her co-op program work placement is to learn more about the production and editing phases and editing software. Then she’ll be off to a 4 month stint at the University of Stirling in Scotland!

 

 

 

 

Francis Auger-Page is in his third year of his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film Studies . Francis is very passionate about filmmaking, and he shoots and edits short films in his spare time when not doing a part-time internship at Picture This. We’re delighted to have them join us this summer
