Jonathan Viens
Post-Production supervisor
Jonathan’s passion for working in video began as a young boy, when he was captivated by a behind-the-scenes documentary on the first Star Wars film. It wasn’t until three decades later that he fully committed to a career in video production, first as a production assistant, grip, and camera assistant. later picking up more skills in sound recording, assistant editing and post-production quality control. He approaches his work by drawing inspiration from Albert Einstein who said, “I have no special talent. I am only passionately curious.”

From documentaries to corporate campaigns, we’ve done it all!
Co-founders Maureen Marovitch and David Finch produced their first social issue documentary together in 1996, and haven’t stopped telling stories since.
Winning awards for their films at festivals such as Hot Docs, the Vancouver International Film Festival, Worldfest Houston, and Yorkton, the pair and their growing team branched out into corporate production in the early 2000s. Picture This now showcases a portfolio with everything from documentary series and interactive content for broadcast companies like APTN and CBC Gem, to 300+ videos for businesses, institutions, and organizations across the globe.
Whether it’s a promotional, educational, or a viral campaign video, this team leads you through concept development, to filming, to post-production, and has fun, too.
