Synopsis

This entertaining documentary travels into the theatrical world of old time strongmen and into the start of the cult of modern day bodybuilding. As the strongest man in the world in the late 1800s, Louis Cyr’s act included deadlifting a platform holding 18 men over his head! From international strongman competitions to headlining the Barnum and Bailey Circus, the boy from small town Quebec would become an international star, billed as the strongest man in the world.
