Still Longshots

Synopsis

Still Longshots follows four at-risk young people through a summer-long video-making workshop. Learning to make videos about their lives becomes a creative healing process for these young men and women, aged 19-24. Rounding out the experience is the chance to meet a group of former street kids, now all in their 30s, who did a similar workshop more than a decade earlier in our previous film Longshots.

Over the weekend, surprising, sometimes disturbing parallels emerge between the old and new groups, along with glimmers of hope for the younger ones.
